Street Scrap Mumbai Style - Worlds Smallest Scrap Yard?

Street Scrapping for E-Waste in India is very different than in Australia that's for sure. Coming from a very wasteful society in Australia it's nice not to see electrical items littering the streets of Mumbai.

Infact it seems totally opposite and anything that can be recycled is recycled.
Be it Plastic, Paper, Scrap Metal, Timber, Furniture or just about everything that can be used again in another way, is.

It has really made me think about how wasteful we are in western countries like Australia, if we were as efficient in re-using scrap commodities like they are here in India, the world would be a much cleaner place for future generations that's for sure.

Sure, their might be a huge population in India and mathematics will suggest a percentage of this population have no real income to speak of and have no choice but to re-use any kind of useful items but it seems most, if not all, are void of the throw away type of society we are in the west.
