Chronological Bible in a Year 2023 - August 21, Day 233 - Jeremiah 41-45

Welcome to Day 233, August 21st, 2023. We read an insurrection lead by Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, to kill Gedaliah and this with him at Mizpah. Flight to Egypt is Forbidden by the Lord. Jeremiah is taken to Egypt to set up stones for the King of Babylon as a symbol that the King of Babylon will overtake Pharaoh and rule over Egypt. The Israelites who did leave to Egypt will be punished. And Baruch the scribe the son of Neriah is assured he will have his life.
