Seal Beach Pier was built early in the last century and had to be rebuilt two times after storms damaged the pier in the 1930s and 1980s. Seal is one of the longest wooden piers in California after the Huntington Beach Pier. It juts out 1865 feet (568 meters) into the Pacific Ocean from the center of Seal Beach.
