In this one we look at the latest used car reliability survey from What Car which puts the most reliable used cars brands against the least reliable used car brands. The survey results are based on responses from over 16,000 UK used car owners who answered a series of questions regarding the reliability of their car, these were then filtered down to brand level to give us the results that we see here.

These videos are always a bit controversial and there are always good and bad examples of any car with luck always playing a part in any ownership experience. These surveys are not an exact science either but I personally think there is some value in them.

Used car reliability is obviously a big deal to many of us but practicality, performance, and style are also an important part of the buying decision for many UK drivers. It's one thing watching a new car review, but another is actually owning an older car.

It's no surprise to see several Japanese and Korean firms dominating these results but there are one or two eye-opening results too. So what is the most reliable car brand in the uk? what is the least reliable car in the uk? which are the best and worst car brands for reliability?

Please don't get all protective over your brand, take this for what it is. As I said in the video, there are always good and bad examples and maybe you've just been one of the lucky or unlucky ones.
