I've made this quick video into PCP vs Lease in 2022 in response to multiple questions from you guys asking what's the best thing to do in the current market. Although my personal position has not changed (I would still choose to Lease vs PCP) this is how I would suggest you look at the calculations and the possible thought process of making your own decision. Remember the key car finance terms here, a PCP is a "Personal Contract Purchase" and a Lease or PCH is "Personal Contract Hire".

The deals I’m showing in this video are meant as an example only, you may be able to find better terms on the lease or the PCP, I really just wanted to show you how to do the basic maths to help you make your decision.

I hope you find this useful, car leasing always works best when you shop for the deal rather than for the specific car - find out more about that here https://youtu.be/UKyPBm-gIeM

By the way, if you paid £500 for your car 10 years ago and it's still great then I'm really pleased for you, it doesn't make those who buy cars with financing bad people or fools so please keep your comments respectful! Remember to subscribe for more car finance tips.
