The Revelation of Jesus was heralding the consummation and termination of the old system and the inauguration of the new kosmos way.
No longer is God restricted to a building in ancient Jerusalem, but he is tabernacling in and with the believer, and is one with the believer. No longer is there an outward washing of water and blood, which could not cleanse the spirit, but now our cleansing is of the inner man, within, which makes us fit and worthy of being called the sons of God.
We are now living in the new kosmos today, old things have passed away, behold all things have been made new.
