HOW TO CHALLENGE AND DISPUTE FALSE MONETIZATION CLAIMS AGAINST YOUR YOU TUBE CHANNEL

1. When you login to your YouTube account you will see a copyright claim and who made it

2. If you dispute the claim (i.e. you have a license or a clear cut case that the image was used within "fair use" guidelines, or the image was in the public domain (copyright expired) you can make a challenge.

3. Watch the video for how I make challenges for myself. I find it disrespectful to make a challenge on someones page without first trying to contact them. Especially when it turns our your claim has no merit.

4. You submit the claim, and I like to give them an email to discuss the issue sidebar so to speak.

5. If they other party contacts you, you can make the case for fair use, license, or some other valid reason that avoids an allegation of infringement.
