DCS F/A-18C Suicide By AGM-62

This is another instance where I had to go back and view the track to find out exactly what happened. I had just targeted a ship in the distance and released an AGM-62 "Walleye II" guided bomb when the F/A-18C seemingly disintegrated in mid-air. As it turns out, as I released the weapon the aircraft was descending just slightly. I turned slightly and effectively dropped the rear of the aircraft onto the nose of the bomb... and it did what bombs do, and blew up under the jet exhaust nozzles. :-) *ka-boom*.
