Arkansas GOP 2023 Summer Committee Meeting Robert M of Crittenden County nominates Sarah Dunklin

The Republican Party of Arkansas held it's 2023 Summer Committee meeting at the Wyndham Hotel in North Little Rock August 19th. There were 371 voters and several guests. More guest had to be turned to away due to the room selected being too small.

The main vote was for Republican Party of Arkansas Chair. Joseph Wood was the nominee chosen by Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Caldwell Consulting, JCW Consulting, & other members of the Arkansas Establishment GOP. Woods has a good record of standing up to things like Government waste, COVID mandates, & other globalist narratives, but didn't have much experience in helping multiple GOP committees. A Governor's Caucus where legislators were lobbied for Joseph Wood was held in several ballrooms in the same hotel.

The Conservative choice was Sarah Dunklin, who is Arkansas 1st District Chair and has helped build up multiple committees across Arkansas. Dunklin was also a TEA Party member and organizer of fundraising events.

Joseph Woods won the vote with the help of several Proxy voters that included members of Sarah Huckabee Sanders' staff and some democrats. The vote total was never given and the ballots were destroyed despite objections.

Rules changes that called for Closed Primary Elections and being registered to vote as Republican to run as a Republican also failed. The purpose of Open Primary elections is allow the RINO consultant class to keep conservatives from office via democrat crossover votes.
