Moon surface….

The Moon's surface, also known as the lunar surface, is the outermost layer of the Moon. It is covered with a layer of fine dust called regolith, which is made up of small rock fragments and powdery material. The surface of the Moon is rocky and uneven, with craters, mountains, and large flat areas known as maria. The maria are made up of solidified lava flows from ancient volcanic activity. The Moon's surface is also characterized by impact craters, which are formed when meteoroids or asteroids collide with the Moon's surface. The largest and most well-known impact crater on the Moon is the South Pole-Aitken Basin. The surface of the Moon has no atmosphere, water, or weather, and it is exposed to extreme temperature variations, ranging from extremely hot during lunar day to extremely cold during lunar night.
