1964 Pontiac Bonneville Get Safety Mega Fuses On Alternator & Battery. Shrink Tube Speedo Seal.

Put mega Bojack fuses on both ends of the main alternator wire and the battery - feel much safer. Pulled the speedometer drive and tried to seal it. This is a Super Hydro-matic. The speedometer cable was filled with trasmission fluid so I got some 9/16 shrink tube and filled each end with silicone. I then wrapped the connection to the tail shaft with silicone tape and sealed it again with RTV high heat silicone. Hope it works!
