At every wedding there are heartfelt speeches from a ton of people. This branches out from the bride or groom, to the best man or the maid of honor, then to family and friends. People tend to share personal anecdotes from the past, and they all elude to a point worth making regarding how the two lovers deserve and were made for one another. This speech comes from the bride, and this couldn't be a more beautiful speech.

When the bride was about to start a speech, she called up all of her husbands brothers in blue up to the dance floor. Everyone was probably expecting a thank you to everyone involved accompanied with a few stories, but this moment was not that. The bride took her time to thank the police officers for their duty, and shares her respect for not just her husband, but all police officers alike. You can be sure that this surprise caught the groom off guard, but a beautiful moment none the less.

To cap off her speech, she tells everybody about the gift that she has given everyone in order to say thank you to an officer. What's better than giving an officer some coffee and doughnuts?

"My sister, the bride, brings tons of tears and applause after she has the greatest and most rewarding surprise for her groom."

That's a very wonderful tribute on a day that is really supposed to be about the bride. It's so nice that she took the spotlight and turned it on these guys. Stay safe, brothers.

And I agree, it is great that she is not so self-possessed, that she is indeed willing to shine the light on the good work of others, though I do think there need to be many improvements with policing in America, it was still a very kind gesture and I am sure she and all the men represented here do not fall into the category I describe in my comment below. I wish them nothing but the best in their future together

then they should learn to think before they shoot, learn to not always rely on the use of lethal force - far too many police shootings these days when they could have used non lethal methods to subdue the subject. I chalk it up to poor training. Many of these men get only a month or two of training before they are thrown to the wolves...more training is needed and higher employment standards are necessary. Many police forces pay so poorly they are taking men that have been fired from two or three departments before the arrive in the one station where they end up going over the line....should be more money allocated to training and more psychological testing and background checks done before you can become and officer of the law. The states is ridiculous.....gun culture gone absolutely insane and they don't even get it.....soon it will be like Brazil...more lead in the air than CO2.....crazy assed world we live in.....put your soul first and foremost, find a god you can grow with and put that first and foremost in your life, live by the goodness it promotes and don't fall into the trap that many do, that being those with the most toys win....that is false = those with the most love in their hearts are the true winners! no matter what god you choose to follow if you choose love over evil you have won in this lifetime...that's all it boils down to folks - love is all there is - to borrow a phrase from John Lennon!
