I don't believe in coincidences. Back in October I invited Sandi Baron to be my guest on January 16, not realizing it was Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. I can't imagine a better way to acknowledge and honor the life of this remarkable man than by narrating a few poignant pages of Sandi Baron's Bridging the Mississippi. This is the story of Sandi's experiences teaching in the late 1960s in New Orleans. We will meet a couple of the precious souls she had the privilege to influence, and who influenced her in life-changing ways.
