Russia Questions New US Pandemic Office Amid "Biowarfare" Spat

Russia has said that the US is plotting a new pandemic by implementing virus mutations. Russian Lt. Gen. Igor Kirillov said that Washington is likely to trigger another global emergency. The Russian General’s comment came after the US last month said that it is opening a new pandemic office led by a retired general. Kirillov claimed that the US may use its bio-technology for offensive purposes. Kirillov added that the US Army Research Institute of Infectious Diseases is going to play a leading role in US’ biological warfare program. Kirillov also added that the Office's priorities included work to create vaccines and drugs to stop viruses and their genetically altered variants.
