Everyone has their respective story to tell when it comes to the year that was 2020.
What was yours?
Most would rather talk about Lizzo stealing food or "family friendly" Wayne Brady (who prefers to get blanked in the blank) these days.
But against the backdrop of a potential nuclear war, unprecedented attacks via indictments on a former (some say current) President Donald Trump, illegal Covid labs found in California, and Hawaii on fire we are coming up on the debates and entering into another election season.
Think of the consequences if we don't address the above mentioned.
Will it be the fractured Republican party that corrects course?
Could it be Ron DeSantis? Vivek Ramaswamy, perhaps?
Or could it be someone from the left?
Governor Jesse Ventura; a generation's best talker in pro wrestling, an anti-establishment guy, with unique experience as a Navy SEAL, has been making the rounds lately as a left leaning anti-Trump guy with some aspirations for running a campaign for president in 2024. What about Robert F. Kennedy Jr.?
Even if you're not part of the left/right paradigm, as I believe most of you are not as (presumably)Trump supporters, are we willing to take ideas from everywhere that make sense and shape them into policy?
We don't need moderators to do this. However, it seems we DO need a few reminders.

Where were you when it happened? March 13th. It was a Friday. Your friend sent you a link and told you to prepare. You didn't believe it but you ran to the TV and turned it on. The national emergency was declared right before your eyes. You knew it. Dammit. "Someone got to him" you said to yourself. "Someone got to Trump." You knew nothing would ever be the same again. You thought about all the old radio shows you listened to back home growing up. Wait, what about Grandma? What happens now? She's in a nursing home. What if this really is it? The big one. You spent all your credit getting groceries and water that night. You could see your wife was scared but she's brave. Braver than you. "No, I'm just confused", you thought. Be strong. For her. Check the phone, you see dancing nurses. You see empty hospitals. You hear your Governor. The one YOU voted for. He's saying we're giving money to the CCP for masks?
They're going to make it mandatory now. They did. You were right. The hospitals are packed, they said. Your job called. They don't need you. You're not "essential". Watch more TV. There are riots. "Be safe", they tell you. Stay distanced. Doesn't make sense. You ignore it. At first. Cities burn.
It's peaceful they tell you. Junior is fine but the dog is coughing. What do you do? You can't taste anything. You can't smell. Is this real?
"I need to vote", you told yourself. Wait, is that an earpiece? I should call Aunt Patty but we're just gonna argue.
She calls YOU instead. Grandma's not doing well. Can't see her. Only through the glass...
You drive all night listening to the radio. It's a ghost town. Roads are clear. The host is talking about near Earth objects. One last week too. What's going on?
Wife came home. Lost her job. You called your friend down the street. He called you CRAZY. Don't ever call again. There's a vaccine on the way. You're not taking it. Too many late-night ads. 'If you've taken our medication you may be entitled to compensation'. No thanks.
Check social media. Where is everyone? Where's parlor? Where's the app? Election night you stay up all night. Trump is going to win. Good. Wait, the votes just flipped! What's going on? Did you see that? "Biden can't fill your living room", you thought to yourself.
You're going to the rally in Washington. But you can't. It's not showing up. The GPS is blocking the route. They're
putting up barricades. The inauguration is like that movie. What's it called? That's right. Hunger Games.
Grandma passed away. "Wear a mask at the funeral", Aunt Patty told you. She got the vaccine. Had a heart attack. Two funerals.
Wife's upset. She's leaving for a while. Junior says he's a girl now. Stay focused. Everything was a lie. You think about growing up. All the movies, TV shows, music. All lies. Time to clean the house. Nothing else to do. It's a psy op. All of it. You knew it. What happened?
Mandates are lifted. New war started. Same old, you thought. Biden fell again. Someone posted a set. The White House
is staged. It's fake!
