Unknown assailants attacked the tent camp of the defenders of the Soviet Army

Unknown assailants attacked the tent camp of the defenders of the Soviet Army monument in Sofia. Several dozen masked youths threw fireworks at the camp, then smashed the granite slab of the monument itself with heavy objects and painted its base.

No injuries were reported. Four people were arrested, the 24 Hours newspaper reported.

As a result of the decision to dismantle the Soviet Army Monument, it is being guarded around the clock by volunteers from various political and public associations.
