An expedition cruise to the North Pole ended in Murmansk, which took place on the world's most powerful nuclear-powered icebreaker capable of carrying passengers "50 Years of Victory". The cruise participants met with the passengers of the French vessel Le Commandant Charcot in Arctic waters.

The captains turned the ships towards each other so that the passengers and crew members, having gathered on the open decks, could exchange greetings and congratulate each other on the conquest of the North Pole. The meeting left vivid impressions on the passengers of both ships.
