The National Citizens Inquiry testimony of Sierra Rotchford, a paramedic from Alberta.
A previous bout with sepsis made her hesitant to get the covid vaccine. Seeking an exemption, her family doctor berated her and refused to give her one instead.
Sierra describes the type of calls the ambulance would see before covid.
Early into the pandemic, the hospitals were empty, and the call volume was lower than usual. But after the vaccine roll-out, things changed drastically.
There was an increase of cases regarding mental health, overdose, suicide, domestic violence, strokes, and first-time seizures. At one point, there was a 70% increase in the call volume, something one paramedic hadn't seen in over 20 years. She discusses the missing ambulances in Alberta, sometimes up to 30-40 a day, leaving patients at risk.
The most heartbreaking thing was overhearing hospital staff talk poorly of the unvaccinated. They were bullied, harrassed, and discriminated against. This behavior from medical staff is absolutely unacceptable.
Sierra doesn't understand why they refused her exemption. The medical profession knows the danger of sepsis and how deadly it is. Why would they refuse to give her the vaccine exemption?

The covid restrictions and mandates hurt many Canadians. Please listen to their stories.
