Prophet Dawood AS
Prophet Dawood (Bibil name is David) was born in 1040 BC in present-day Palestine and died in 970 BC at the age of 70 years. He was the 3rd king of the Kingdom of Israel. It is said that he had short height, blue eyes, and less hair on his head.

Dawud's father was a noble man by the name of Isha. Isha had many sons, of which Dawud was the youngest. Dawud loved his father and was a kind and gentle son. While Dawud was still a young boy, his father sent him to travel with the Bani Isra'il army.

The Zabur according to Islam, the holy book of David, one of the holy books revealed by God before the Quran, alongside others such as the Tawr?h (Torah) and the Inj?l (Gospel). Muslim tradition maintains that the Zabur mentioned in the Quran is the Psalms of David.

Prophet Talut offered his youngest daughter Michal bint Talut as a wife to Prophet Dawud which he accepted.

Although the tomb of Prophet Dawud (pbuh) is said to be located outside the old city of Al-Quds on Mount Zion, Islamic tradition believes that rather being his tomb, the site is in fact a 'maqam', which marks the place where he had once stayed

The lack of clear evidence for David's burial led to a mediaeval tradition tracking his tomb is really on Mount Zion. The site is venerated by Jews to this day, although it contradicts the Biblical clear indication that David was buried in the City of David, note at Mount Zion.
