Truck runs red light in front of cop, immediately gets pulled over

Running on a red light is irresponsible and should never be practiced...unless you want to get pulled over and fined.

Some drivers make more obvious mistakes, like this one that didn't see the cop behind his vehicle.

This semi truck clearly doesn't see the state trooper in his blind spot, otherwise he probably wouldn't have run a red light right in front of him! Instant karma at its finest!

That's a lesson learned!

the cop should get a ticket too...changed lanes with no turn signal.

The cops "turn signals" were on.. the big flashing ones on the top of the car... that gives him the right of way... and requires all drivers to yield...

apparently you didn't see the video I saw? Cop changed lanes with No signal and NO lights activated. But I get your point...IF the big flashing lights on top were in operation at the time of the lane change then yeah, maybe.

Saw an idiot get a ticket in a similar fashion a few years ago while sitting in line at a temporary traffic light at a bridge repair site that was down to one lane. Second guy in line and right in front of me decided that since there was no traffic coming the other way, he'd just ignore the light and go for it. What he did not realize was that sitting directly behind me was a county cop that saw the whole thing. I laughed all the way home as I passed by his pulled over butt once the light went green.

I think the driver must've thought it was green because the traffic on the oncoming lane was moving. Either way pretty dumb. Maybe he was on his phone.

That wasn't a slow reaction, inattention or going to fast to stop... That was a flagrant and intentional violation, this a-hole has no concern for public safety... It is also a violation that should require the loss of his Class A license... Hope that's what he was sentenced with, besides a hefty fine!! This is fresh to me... Just 3 days ago, was responding to a working structure fire, coming down a narrow winding road that crosses a highway, (this intersection is the scene of many serious collisions), emergency reds & siren operating and we had a green light but a semi-driver was going to fast to stop at the the red signal.. I caught his approach out of the corner of my eye and slammed on the Engine's brakes as the semi slid, brakes smoking through the intersection.... just a few seconds or ???? and it would have been a much more serious result... The skidding of the semi veered it to the right and took out the signal pole and power pole...
