Save a Lot Closes Two Kansas City MO Locations Because of Theft, Media Claims COVID Did It

Regional grocery chain Save a Lot has been forced to close two locations in the Kansas City Missouri area due to excessive theft. Instead of putting the blame where it actually belongs, squarely at the feet of those who robbed the place blind, they are trying to claim that COVID is to blame for it instead. The media is trying to claim that it was COVID along with the very recent end to giving SNAP and WIC to people who didn’t qualify for it that caused the theft which in turn has caused both locations to close. Too bad for them, as the head of the company has stated that the theft has been going for many years now at those locations and was a thing long before the coof was one.
