— On today, August 18, 2023, Niger's national television broadcast images of Brazilian-made Embraer EMB 314 Super Tucano aircrafts sent by Mali and Burkina Faso to support Niger in the event of a potential ecowas intervention.
The focus of Super Tucanos is to support Troops on ground on Close Air Support operations, being one of the best, if not the best, on such model on the market currently. It's often used by States facing insurgency problems, as it was used by the then Afghan Air Force before the Collapse of the Democratic Government of 🇦🇫 Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to the Taliban
