Since surrendering his life as an administration professional killer, Robert McCall (Denzel Washington) has attempted to accommodate the terrible things he's finished previously and tracks down a weird comfort in serving equity for the benefit of the persecuted. Finding himself shockingly at home in Southern Italy, he finds his new companions are heavily influenced by nearby kingpins. As occasions turn lethal, McCall understands what he needs to do: turn into his companions' defender by taking on the mafia.
