Lam is a sinister being that haunted the visions of the notorious magician Aleister Crowley in 1918. Crowley was a master of dark arts, who created a new religion called Thelema, which preached that people should do whatever they want. He also experimented with many kinds of magic, such as invoking demons, traveling to other realms, and performing sexual rituals. Lam is one of the demons that Crowley claimed to have summoned through his magic.
