Colleen, Justin and I will be LIVE tonight with another Amazing Show that introduces a NEW Series of Shows, Decoding Star Trek…Episode #1 is based upon Star Trek: The Original Series, Season One, Episode #26, entitled Errand of Mercy, where Captain Kirk and the U.S.S. Spaceship Enterprise Crew Travel to the Planet Organia, which has found itself Front and Center for a fast-developing War between Star Fleet and the Klingon Empire…Star Fleet requires Organia as a Friendly, Deep Space Port, and are concerned about the Organians as they appear to be unintelligent and backwards as they are not Technologically Advanced, and are not continuing to Develop Socio-Economically…

Star Fleet orders the USS Enterprise to visit the Elders of Organia and offer them Military Protection for Fear that, if not protected, the Klingon will forcibly Take Organia and enslave these seemingly simple people…but when Captain Kirk and Commander Spock arrive on Organia, the Organian Elders REFUSE Star Fleet aid, telling Captain Kirk that they are in no danger; however, that Captain Kirk and First Officer Spock ARE in Danger, and that they should leave Organia immediately…however, Kirk and Spock REFUSE to believe the Organians, that they are safe from the Klingons, and they continue to belabor the point until such time that the Klingons arrive, forcibly, and both Kirk and Spock must disguise themselves as part of the Organian Community…

This Episode is PURE GENIUS from the Show’s Creator, Gene Roddenberry and from their Best Writer, Gene L. Coon…as both Star Fleet and the Klingons, who like to see themselves as Intelligent and Advanced Empires, refuse to take these seemingly simple People at their word, and instead they continue to belabor the point until all-out War with the Klingons breaks out…no other Hollywood TV Show would EVER place the Show’s Primary Star, William Shatner, as Captain James T. Kirk, especially during their first season, in such a position as being so blatantly Ego-Driven, Aggressive to the point of Violence, and Judgmental…but this is precisely what Roddenberry did, which led to an INCREDIBLE Ending which few Shows, or Movies have ever rivalled since...
