As a compromise, school board votes 6-0 to keep all of the pervasively vulgar books in question in the school library, because it will help educate the children (but educate them in what - how to's of sex acts, incest, drugs, suicide?).
Desensitization and normalization.
Perhaps it is time to stop feeding the beast.
