Goat bangs horns on feed bucket to startle other goats

Feeding time at Hamish's farm in Keene, Ontario is always interesting. The goats are particularly entertaining and each one has its own personality. Each morning, Alanna puts out a mix of grains to go along with the hay and other feed that these goats enjoy. Rodney is a goat who believes that he deserves a turn and he has learned that he can bang his horns on the bucket to startle the other goats and make them pull their head out of his way. Rodney repeatedly thumps the bucket and gets his head in for a share but when he stops to chew, the other goats move in and the routine repeats.

It's amazing that Rodney has been able to figure out that he can use this sort of a trick instead of actually butting the other goats. It seems that even farm animals prefer a gentle approach when possible.
