Northern Lights Seen From the International Space Station

While orbiting above Earth in the early hours of February 26, 2023, NASA astronauts Josh Cassada and Nicole Mann, along with JAXA astronaut Koichi Wakata, observed radiant auroras from the cupola situated on the International Space Station. A day after this sighting, Cassada and Mann recorded a time-lapse video of the Northern Lights. During an interview conducted on the station, Cassada eloquently described the profound experience they had.
