Katherine Switzer: First Woman To Run "Boston Marathon" Runs Event Again 50 Years Later

On April 19, 1967 "Katherine Switzer," became the first woman to officially run in the "Boston Marathon". A year earlier, Female Runner, "Bobbi Gibb", had run the race, but without registering, and wearing a bib(numbers). 50 years later "Switzer" runs the event again in a time of 4:44:31 sec.
