Vacation Over Crisis - Biden's Silence Over Maui Was Deafening

One thing about the Biden administration is that there is no longer an emphasis on optics. Joe Biden said he wasn't going to Maui because he didn't want to get in the way, but then he very publicly went to the beach in Delaware for yet another vacation.

Instead of going to a microphone to tell the American people that he made all the calls necessary to have the people of Maui's back, he told the press, "No comment."

Biden asked Congress for $40 billion MORE for Ukraine and the next day offered $1.9 million to Maui for relief. That comes to $700 per person.
