Rock Island Armory .22TCM magazine ejection problem

.22TCM double stack M1911 pistol

When the slide is locked-back on an empty magazine, and mag release button pressed, the magazine will not drop free.
User must manually pull magazine out with mag release pressed.

Magazine drops freely when slide is closed.
