CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - SpaceFlight Insider's visual team captured this stunning imagery from the Jan. 20, 2017 flight of a United Launch Alliance Atlas V 401 rocket. The payload that lifted off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station's Space Launch Complex 41 was the third Space Based Infrared System satellite for the U.S. Air Force. The mission got underway at 7:42 p.m. EST (00:42 GMT).
