‘India has to escape colonial mindset to become developed’ – finance minister

To become a developed country, India has to eliminate any trace of the colonial mindset, entrenched after 89 years of British rule. That's the assessment of the Indian finance minister. The statement came days after the country marked its 76th anniversary of independence.
