Adorable gopher gets a back scratch while enjoying a tasty carrot

While taking a day trip to Manning Park in British Columbia, Brent wanted to see just how tame the gophers were. Being April and still chilly in the mountains, there was a very light snow falling along with some sun. This made for a great setting amongst the great outdoor wilderness to feed and get close with these little creatures. They are so cute , fairly calm and fun to watch play amongst themselves as well.
Since the snow recently melting on the ground, they are finding more food and seem quite hungry.
Brent and Elsa had a great day with these little guys in the park.
