An Overlooked JDM Racing Game | Auto Modellista

The 2000s are regarded as the peak of racing games, and rightfully so, with various games released every year that turn out to be classics. The one downside to this is that with so many games, some do not get much recognition, as they get overshadowed by other titles (e.g. Enthusia being overshadowed by GT4). One such case is Auto Modellista or Auto Modellista: US Tuned to be specific. This is a more technical JDM-focused racing game sporting a cel-shaded look, the first major difference between this game and others. Although it may not look the part, this game was trying to compete with games such as Gran Turismo. Sure, it didn't put a dent into GT, but due to the lack of racing games today and the ones that do exist being samey, a game like this would be a breath of fresh air.
