Spiritual Warfare

God revealed where the spiritual battle is fought and how it is won in the 2nd chapter of the Bible… how soon we forget! ~ "But of the tree of the knowledge…you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die” (Genesis 2.17). Satan gained entrance into the world and the human race through the mind, and little has change over the past 6000 years.

Most people today have no idea where the spiritual battleground is, much less how it is fought, and what the Bible says about our ‘might spiritual weapons,’ which incidentally are entirely confined to the mind. ~ “For the weapons of our warfare are…casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ” (2Corinthians 10.4-5).

Of course, thoughts are not altogether inherently evil, but they are much more powerful than most of us have been led to believe. Once the average Christian gets a clear understanding of a few basic biblical concepts, enormous spiritual victories can be won in relatively short periods of time and with minimal effort.
