Young children were among dozens of #migrants rescued and brought ashore from the #EnglishChannel, days after six people died trying to make the crossing between #France and #Britain. British authorities say more than 16,000 migrants have crossed the English Channel so far this year, with more than 1,100 people arriving in the past week alone.
