gameplay
Similar to its predecessor, the game is an interactive drama. The player controls 5 characters who are trapped under an underground Mesopotamian temple during the Iraq War in 2003, where they are chased and hunted by monsters awakened by chaos. The 5 characters include Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) officer Rachel King (played by Ashley Tisdale) with her husband, US Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Eric King (played by Alex Gravenstein); Marine First Lieutenant Jason Kolchek (played by Paul Zinno) with Sergeant Nick Kay (played by Moe Jeudy-Lamour); and Iraqi Army Lieutenant Salim Othman (played by Nick Tarabay).[1] Throughout the game, players have to make different decisions that can have long-term consequences as they influence how the characters play each other and the course of the narrative. All five characters can survive or die depending on the player's decision. As a result, the game has multiple endings.
