West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Bannerjee is currently at loggerheads with the Modi government at the Centre. She is lashing out at the Centre for any action against her party members by any agency.

Yesterday, the CBI arrested Sudip Bandyopadhyay of the TMC in connection with the Rose Valley chit fund scam. He is a member of the Lok Sabha.

Soon after his arrest, TMC members attacked the BJP party office in Kolkata in protest. The BJP office was ransacked and mass violence was reported.

But instead of condemning the attack by her party workers, Mamata called the arrest vindictive and lashed out at the Centre. She even went on to say that the PM should be arrested!
