Amos - Hold the Champagne!

In the book of Amos, Amos spends over a chapter prophesying to the northern nation of Israel that God is going to bring judgement on their enemies - even their brother enemy, the southern nation of Judah. And you can imagine how psyched the Israelites were about that! We can imagine them high-fiving each other and breaking out the champagne. But they better hold that champagne because Amos has over 7 chapters of prophecy about God's judgement on THEM! And Amos has something to say to us, too!
