Their success allowed them the opportunity to foster children and eventually adopt Michael Oher on whom the movie was based. Today, Leigh Anne is a fierce advocate for foster care, especially for those nearing their 18th birthdays and who are aging out of the system. She also sits on the Taco Bell Foundation Board.
