Troops guard Pakistani Christians after church arsons

Local residents of Pakistan’s eastern city of Jaranwala on Thursday (August 17) said they were shocked after a Muslim mob vandalized and torched several churches and houses belonging to the city's Christian settlement a day earlier, prompting paramilitary troops to be deployed to the scene.
