About 3,000 Pets Missing Due to Maui Wildfires

Because of the fire in Lahaina, about 3,000 pets are missing or lost, according to the Maui Humane Society. The Humane Society says their animal population was “over capacity before this tragedy,” and now they’ve seen an influx of pets that were injured or lost during the evacuation process. Many of the animals that veterinarians are treating are “in need of critical care due to smoke inhalation.” Inside Edition Digital’s TC Newman has more.
