17.08.23 -Within the framework of the ARMY International Military-Technical Forum, the Alabino training ground hosted a dynamic demonstration of capabilities with demonstration of firing capabilities of military hardware of the Land Forces, Airborne Troops, and industrial enterprises.

▫️ Foreign and Russian specialists and military attaches of the countries participating in the ARMY 2023 IMTF saw the firing and technical capabilities of 17 samples of modern weapons and military hardware.

▫️ The show included the T-90MS and T-14 Armata tanks, the BTR-82AT armoured personnel carrier, the BMD-4M paratrooper fighting vehicles, the Tiger-M SPN armoured special-purpose vehicle, the Kamaz specialised high cross-country vehicles with 4x4, 6x6 and 8x8 wheel configurations and armoured cabs, the Iskander-M missile defence system, and the 152-mm Msta-S SG.

▫️ The guests also observed the Plastun all-terrain vehicles on a universal tracked platform, which took part in the show for the first time.

Contracts worth over 400 billion roubles signed at the ARMY Forum

The military authorities of the Russian Ministry of Defence together with industrial enterprises are carrying out significant work to provide the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation with weapons, military and special hardware. This work is carried out taking into account the tasks, results, and specifics of the special military operation.

As a result of the fulfilment of state contracts, the troops shall receive more than 2,500 new samples of weapons, military and special hardware and more than 1,800,000 pieces of armaments:

☑️ The Russian Ministry of Defence has signed a state contract for the supply of the latest Malva wheeled howitzers to the troops. The contract was signed with Burevestnik Central Research Institute. The company has also signed contracts for the supply of modernised 120mm mortar systems on the chassis of the 2S12A Ural-43206 vehicle, 82mm 2B24 mortars, and 120mm 2B11 mortars on wheeled 2L81.

☑️ The Ministry of Defence signed a contract with the Strela Research and Production Association for the supply of artillery radar systems.

☑️ The Russian Ministry of Defence has signed a state contract for the supply of Uran-6 demining robots to the troops. The contract was signed with the Special Design Bureau of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation.

☑️ A contract has been concluded with the Kupol Izhevsk Electromechanical Plant for the supply of Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile systems.

☑️ The Research and Production Corporation Machine Building Design Bureau (part of Rostec's High-Precision Complexes holding) shall manufacture and supply missiles. The 9M123M Khrizantema guided missile is one of the most powerful Russian-made anti-tank guided munitions.

☑️ The Russian Ministry of Defence has signed a contract with the Dolgoprudny Research and Production Enterprise to manufacture and supply anti-aircraft guided missiles.

☑️ Protei Spetstekhnika shall manufacture portable communication complexes for Russian servicemen.

☑️ The Russian Ministry of Defence has signed a contract with JSC Elektroavtomatika for the manufacture and supply of new R-177M command and staff vehicles.

☑️ Russian Helicopters Holding Company of Rostec State Corporation will manufacture and supply MI-8AMTSh-V Terminator helicopters to the troops.

The Russian Ministry of Defence has awarded the enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex that have distinguished themselves in fulfiling the state defence order within the framework of the Army 2023 Forum. Cups for achievements in the fulfilment of the state defence order were awarded to labour collectives of KTRV, VKO Concern Almaz-Antey, PJSC Priboy, Sredne-Nevsky Shipbuilding Plant, Admiralteyskie Verfey, Russian Helicopters, Technodinamika, Dolgoprudny Research and Production Enterprise, and Izhevsk Electromechanical Plant.
