The Great Library of Alexandria - Dead, Banished and GONE!

Once upon a time, there was a library that stood on the grounds of a vibrant city called Alexandria. A library so majestic in grandeur that it attracted world wide attention. The Epicentre for learning new knowledge from great writers, philosophers and inventors from all walks of life invigorated a new way of thinking.

But, this house of knowledge fate ended up in the hands of the imperial tyrants who couldn't let go the reigns of control as power struggles, corruption and deceit tore the place apart to the point, learning was a virus that needed to be exterminated.

Was knowledge in itself the key to their power or to their ruin?
