The Hubble Space Telescope took a picture of a quasar called 3C 186. This quasar is not in the center of its galaxy but rather off to the side. Scientists believe that this happened because a supermassive black hole was pushed away from the galaxy's center. This could have occurred due to the force of gravitational waves generated when two supermassive black holes merged together.
