TWO years ago the Taliban swept into the Afghan capital,
Kabul, as foreign forces hastily completed their
withdrawal
The UN said the country is experiencing one of the most
severe humanitarian crises in the world and has warned
of a huge shortfall in funding amid a deepening
economic crisis.
Women and girls have also faced severe restrictions
since the Taliban came to power, including the banning
of girls from secondary schools
