Laser Bean is a member of the SPEAR-MINT family.
Laser Bean costs 200 Sun. (-25 Sun at levels 3, 7, 11 and 15.)
Laser Bean does 40 damage to all zombies in the lane. (+10 damage per level.)
When given plant food, Laser Bean does 1,800 damage to all zombies in the lane. (+100 damage per level.)

Commentary:
This is a meat-and-potatoes type of plant. It's not very sexy, yet the ability to hit all zombies and objects is not something to easily dismiss. On these endless levels, plants which damage ALL zombies become more important. Laser Bean is one of them.

Bottom Line:
Laser Bean is a little too expensive and a little under-powered for the cost. That said, Laser Bean is not a bad plant. Just a solid plant. If you enjoy the endless levels, this is one plant which could do well with a few more levels.

We do not get a preview of Penny's Pursuit before it is released. So what you see is what players get.

We also try to vary the strategies from week to week and showcasing different plants and strategies and ideas. Using the same strategy week after week would be boring to see.
