Russia Targets Danube, Ukraine Fires Drones Near Moscow | Kyiv Takes Credit For Crimea Bridge Attack

Kyiv reported Russian drones heading towards Ukraine's Izmail river port, with social media users noting air defence activations near the Danube ports of Izmail and Reni. Moscow announced the interception of three Ukrainian drones near the city on the same day, marking a series of such interferences throughout August. Ukraine's SBU admitted orchestrating the July 17 assault on the Crimean Bridge, a crucial link between Crimea and Russia, using a sea drone named "Sea Baby". NATO emphasised its commitment to Ukraine's territorial integrity, countering an earlier suggestion that Ukraine might need to cede territory for NATO membership.
