THE BLOB 1988 - The 30th Anniversary Remake of the Sleeper Hit of 1958 is much more gory & grisly than the original with great Special FX. Like the original, an Amoeba-like creature starts out small, then absorbs people and animals to grow to the size of a building. As in the original, teens in a small town sound the warning, but nobody believes them until it's the size of a building.
